BSP Brothers and Sisters of Penance of St Francis
 
The Brothers and Sisters of Penance is a new de facto private lay association of the Catholic Church whose members live modern statutes to a Primitive Rule for penitents written in 1221 at the request of St. Francis of Assisi.

Confraternity of Penitents
A worldwide, private, Catholic Association,
whose Rule is based on the rule given to St.
Francis in 1221. This rule, has been reviewed
by the Diocese of Providence, RI and has been
deemed acceptable to be lived by the laity in
their own homes.
